George Vaughan (CEO)

George has been one of the leading technology innovators in venues over the last 25 years. During this time, he has been responsible for initiating high-profile projects at iconic locations like Twickenham Stadium, where his work helped the venue win seven major industry awards, and Ascot Racecourse, where he orchestrated a forward-thinking, venue-wide technology overhaul, introducing innovative solutions that helped elevate the racecourse’s tech profile.

In addition, he has worked regularly with the Department for Business and Trade, acting as an advisor for the Rugby World Cup 2019 and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Since 2023, he has continued to innovate across multiple sectors, consulting on a variety of projects with the likes of YTL Arena Bristol, The Royal Air Forces Association and Plumpton Racecourse. Through his company, The Digital Line, he has developed several AI-driven initiatives and technology strategies for the hospitality, healthcare and retail sectors, involving brands like Amazon, Samsung Electronics, Visa, Elavon, Inc. and Bose Professional. He also works regularly with the University of Surrey, where he continues to research and develop initiatives focused on Gen Z engagement.

George is a regular speaker on the conference circuit, a contributor to MONDO | STADIA, and is set to co-host the forthcoming Venue Tech podcast show.
