TDL: The Caring Face of Technology

In 2018, The Digital Line introduced voice-activated assistants to the residents of a Greater London care home. The short video below illustrates the impact this had on both the residents and staff associated with the project. It also helps to remind us that innovation applied with thought, attention and the needs of the people as its primary driver can have a profound and positive effect.

There’s a lot wrong with the world we live in but not everything about technology is bad and sometimes we need to think about the “why” rather than the “why not” when we set out to do something.
